When crafting this hanging mobile, I was inspired by the effortless flight of birds.
Each piece is a reflection of nature's simplicity. This four-bird mobile is made from stainless steel and forms a kinetic sculpture that captures a flock of birds in mid-flight.
The process – reminiscent of 3d origami and influenced by the precise cuts of kirigami – transforms metal into flying metal birds. Each element contributes to a collective depiction of movement and harmony.
Using metal and a palette of outdoor acrylic paints, each piece is a small celebration of color and motion. Available in configurations of 4 or 6, I designed it to capture the imagination of both children and adults alike.
